"Chris Lake's new music intrigued me, especially in a venue like Kings, which, by the way, looks and sounds incredible. Great job to the involved individuals. A huge fan of Chris Lake from way back, I truly miss Kim Deal's presence. However, Frank B. and the crew delivered a very good show, skillfully blending songs from the latest album with tried and true Chris Lake favorites. Their performance was overall very pleasing, playing for what felt like a good long time. I have witnessed them at less than their best, but they did not disappoint that night. As time marches on and I become older and more crotchety, there are fewer bands I am willing to spend my hard-earned coin on. Nevertheless, as long as Chris Lake continues to put in the work and visits from time to time, I will always make sure to check them out. I've seen Chris Lake many times. Best."
